- Mandy MDelicious food, decent portions. The fish and chips are authentic—definitely a favorite! Love the complimentary black bean dip and chips (if you like the dip, the black bean soup is basically a thinner version of this, and also really yummy with a little kick). They have a nice mix of familiar choices and some out-of-the-box options, so you can be as adventurous as you want to be.
- Olivia LStopped in on our way home. Such a lovely place! The fish and chips were incredible and we also tried 3 of their soups and all were excellent. The decor is unique and we loved the look of the whole place. Our server Ruby was very sweet and made great recommendations. If you stop in you have to try the sticky toffee pudding! Amazing! We will be back.
- Peter KHaving heard good things about this place, we decided to stop on the way back from Ft Wayne - and we're so glad we did! The fish and chips are great! We grew up in England and now live in the USA, so we know what's good in a "chippy", and Payne's is really good!! Update: Came back 7/6/20 with two of our grandkids. We had fish and chips again. James enjoyed a warm moist brownie with ice cream.
